The Corporation, Shelton Hannig, Inc., was chartered December 1, 1960 in the state of Indiana. Shelton Hannig, architect, practiced in Terre Haute, Indiana, from 1949 through the formation of Shelton Hannig, Inc., in 1960. Shelton Hannig, Inc. performed construction for Indiana State University and numerous other commercial and industrial projects in the community. |

In January of 1988, Bill W. Biddle (formerly of Kettlehut Construction, Inc., of Lafayette, Indiana) purchased the corporation. In March 1988, Mr. Biddle became President, and the company name was amended to Hannig Construction, Inc.
Mr. Biddle brought much experience to the corporation in the areas of contract management, construction management, design-build, cost estimating, as well as maintenance, labor and equipment management. At that timeTroy L. Biddle also joined the company and worked with his father to build the highly regarded firm that Hannig Construction, Inc. has grown into today.
In July 2007, Troy L. Biddle was promoted to President after the death of his father. He continues in this role guiding the Company with the same high principals and strict code of ethics that has been the cornerstone of the Company since its creation.
